ABOUT US

Brynamman Public Hall is a local independent cinema run by volunteers from the community. We strive to screen the latest films at affordable prices with 1920's style and modern technologies including Dolby Digital Surround Sound and MasterImage 3D, the best 3D on the market.

During January 2013, the cinema underwent the transformation from 35mm projection to digital projection due to the forever changing ways of the cinema world, which is ruling out the use of 35mm film. Digital projection offers better flexibility with films along with offering higher frame rates for an even better viewing experience.

The digital projector was kindly donated to the cinema by one of the current Directors.

There is also a snooker room located upstairs, where there are two, full-sized tables available to play on. Fancy a game of snooker? Just ask at the Paybooth for the key !!

Construction has now been successfully completed of the new second screen at the cinema. This seats 42 people and will provide you as customers with more comfort as well as a larger variety of films with the ability to show two different films simultaneously for the first time in the cinema's 88 year history.
